Privacy Policy
Aspire Construction (ACT) Pty Limited
Last updated: 18/08/2026
Aspire Construction collects personal information so we can answer your enquiry, quote your project and carry out your build. We also collect it to meet our obligations as a licensed builder.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the people and organisations listed on this page, and only where we need to in order to do the work or where the law requires it.
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and make a complaint if you think we have handled it badly. How to do each of those is at the bottom of this page.
Who we are
This policy applies to Aspire Construction, based in the Australian Capital Territory. We build across the ACT and the South Coast of New South Wales.
This policy covers everyone who deals with us: people who enquire about a project, clients whose homes we build or renovate, architects and other people we work with, and visitors to this website.
What we collect, and how
Almost all of the information we hold comes straight from you, through the enquiry form on this website, over the phone, by email, or in person.
Sometimes it reaches us another way. An architect, designer or other professional may pass on your details when they introduce your project to us. A partner or family member may enquire on your behalf. A supplier or trade contractor working on your project may share information with us so the work can be done.
When you enquire, we collect your name, your email address, your phone number, the address and type of the project you are asking about, and anything else you choose to tell us in your message.
When you become a client, we collect the information we need to quote, contract and carry out your build. That can include your postal address, the site address and its details, plans and drawings for your project, your budget and payment details, and our correspondence with you as the work goes on.
When you visit this website, we collect information about how you use it. That includes which pages you look at, roughly where you are, and what device and browser you use. We use cookies for this, and there is a section on cookies below.
Why we use it
To answer your enquiry and send you the information you asked for
To quote your project and prepare a contract
To plan, carry out and complete your build, and to support you after handover
To order materials and coordinate the trades and suppliers on your project
To manage payments and keep the records the law requires us to keep
To meet our obligations as a licensed builder
To understand how people find and use this website, so we can improve it
If we ever want to use your information for something that is not on this list, we will ask you first.
Who we share it with
The trades, suppliers and professionals on your project. To build or renovate your home we work with a pool of trusted contractors, as well as suppliers, and the architects, designers and other professionals involved in your project. We share only what each of them needs to do their part of the work.
Providers who help us run the business. We use outside software and services to run parts of our business, such as email, and website and advertising measurement tools. They can only use your information to do the job we have engaged them for.
The specific tools on this website may include:
Google, for website analytics and advertising measurement
Meta, for advertising measurement
Our website host, which runs this site and its enquiry form
Where the law requires it. We may share information where we are required or permitted to by law.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not hand it over for anybody else's marketing.
Where your information is stored
We are an Australian business, and we handle your information under Australian privacy law.
Some of the software we use is supplied by companies that operate internationally, so information held in those systems may be stored or accessed outside Australia. Wherever your information is held, we take reasonable steps to make sure it is handled consistently with Australian privacy law, and nothing about your rights under this policy changes.
How we keep it, and how long for
We hold your information in secure electronic systems, and where we still hold paper, in secure storage. We limit who can see it to the people who need it to do the work.
We keep your information for as long as we need it to do the work and to meet our legal and record keeping obligations, which for building work can be a number of years after a project is finished. When we no longer need it, we destroy it or de-identify it.
If information we hold is lost or accessed without permission, and it is likely to cause you serious harm, we will tell you and we will notify the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, as the notifiable data breaches scheme requires.
Cookies and advertising
This website uses cookies. Some are needed for the site and its enquiry form to work. Others tell us how people use the site and which of our advertisements brought someone here.
We use measurement tools from Google and Meta for this. Those tools set their own cookies, and they may show you our advertising on other websites after you have visited ours.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the ones the site needs, parts of this site, including the enquiry form, may stop working.
Dealing with us without giving your name
You can ring us with a general question without telling us who you are. If you want us to quote your project or take it further, we do need your details, because we cannot do those things without them.
Seeing what we hold, correcting it, or making a complaint
To see what we hold, or to correct it, contact us using the details below and tell us what you are after. We may need to confirm who you are first. There is no charge for asking, and we will respond within a reasonable time. If we cannot give you access, or we do not think a correction is needed, we will tell you why in writing.
If you think we have mishandled your information, tell us first and give us the chance to put it right. Contact us using the details below and set out what happened. We will acknowledge it and give you a written answer within a reasonable time.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can take a privacy complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
